“ We enjoyed a wonderful family evening in a group of 18 . The service and attention to detail was outstanding, it is somewhere I will now visit regularly . The starters included: King prawns in chilli, Prawn with avoidance, bruschetta. My main of sea bass was delicious. The mini- roast potatoes were perfect and the vegetables. I drank perrier water. The bill was reasonable. More importantly we were made to feel at home , and being the last to leave, we danced with the staff at the end of the night. Amy who is the manageress and owner and her team took great care of us. My wife has visited the restaurant for more than 30 years . ”

“ i have been here twice now and it really is a great italian restaurant !! the price is slightly dear but nothing crazy especially considering the quality of food and the service. the staff are all so friendly and happy to serve you and they show the todays specials on a board for you at the table which is a nice touch. and the food is really good, whether it be the steak, pizza, pasta or the starters everything i’ve had is lovely !! i highly recommend the steak here :) ”
“ Went as a table of 13 to celebrate my mum’s birthday tonight and everything was perfect. I got a call to check about the table ahead of our booking; the various starters (mussels, bruschetta, whitebait and asparagus) were delicious, mains were too (lamb shank, mushroom veal, seafood pasta). The chef also made special dishes for the kids (pasta pomodoro). Service was excellent also; attentive, helpful and polite. thank you for a lovely time. ”

“ I have been coming here on and off for years, and have never had a bad meal. So, my review is an overall review due to multiple visits for birthdays and other family and friend events. Most recently, I had the mixed antipasto, and the cold cuts were very good, and the cheese nice. It could of done with a few olives and a bit more cheese. I've also had the chicken milanese and pasta al pomodoro too. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and nice, and tender and moist on the inside. The pasta not too soft and the tomato not too heavy...so I enjoyed that. On my most recent visit I decided to give the pizza a go. I decided on the pizza Mimi...which had a tomato base, mozzarella, spinach, Parma ham and parmigiano cheese, and an egg on top. The pizza dough itself was light and crispy, but lacked tomato base and got a bit dry while eating it. The egg ended up being boiled in the oven...it needed to be put on at the end, just enough time to cook it, but keep it like a gooey fried egg. Overall, it's not a bad pizza, I ate it all...but the lack of tomato base let it down. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is decent value for money. So if you're local and enjoy italian food, then it's definitely worth a visit. ;) ”
“ Great experience. Went here on a Thursday night without a booking, it wasn't too busy and we got seats for 4, 2 adults and 2 kids. The service is quick and polite with a varied menu of Italian dishes with some specials for the week. The portions are incredibly generous and food is nice. ”
